Have you ever wondered what icing is best to use on a cookie or how cookies from scratch are made? Well at summer enhancement you have the chance to learn! In thecookie decorating class, Mrs. Wildes is teaching her students to make homemade cookies from scratch. After making the sugar cookies, the students outline their cookies with royal icing, soon they will “flood” (fill) the cookies carefully with more royal icing. Now they wait till the icing hardens to make the designs on them. Soon these students will be able to become great and experienced bakers. written by Emily, 6th grade
